The Breakfast Smoothie Series (II)

The Antioxidant Mix:

Antioxidant Berry Blend (Market Pantry; found at Target)

Stem or two of kale

¾ c. of water or milk

1 tablespoon of Acerola Cherry Powder

2 tablespoons of chia seed

½ carton of blackberries

Pinch of sugar or Splenda (if it’s too bitter tasting)

Tips: Put the frozen berry blend bag in a bowl of warm water for 20-30 minutes before attempting to blend in the smoothie. Also, this is a really good smoothie to make if the flu or cold season has gotten to you; Acerola Cherries have more Vitamin C in them than any other fruit out there! Enjoy this one!
